Huron Perth Public Health (HPPH) can connect you to different oral health programs and supports such as Healthy Smiles Ontario and the Ontario Seniors Dental Care Program.

HPPH also provides free preventive services to eligible children and youth whose families do not have dental insurance and cannot afford the cost of dental care. 

Preventive services are available by appointment only and include:

• teeth cleaning
• fluoride varnish
• dental sealants 
• oral hygiene instructions

Ages 0-17 for Healthy Smiles Ontario. Your household is automatically enrolled in the program if you or your child receives benefits through Ontario Works, Ontario Disability Support Program, Temporary Care Assistance, or Assistance for Children with Severe Disabilities

Seniors Dental Health Care Program ages 65+ that meet income eligibility and have no other dental benefits.

Applicants can enroll online or call their local health unit for assistance. Application forms also available at Service Ontario.

The Ontario Seniors Dental Care Program provides free, routine dental services for eligible low-income seniors. Apply online or pick up an application form at our Stratford (West Gore) or Clinton offices. Contact us for more information.
