The Palliative Care Visiting Program is a free support program which matches a volunteer with an individual living with a life-threatening illness and bereaved families/friends in their homes, hospitals or long-term care facilities. The volunteer based, non-medical service is dedicated to providing comfort, care and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for individuals and families.

Bereavement Supports is also available in a group setting.

The volunteer provides caring and compassionate support by offering a listening ear, a friendly presence or a helping hand. With regular scheduled visits they provide companionship, encourage activities of interest or assist with writing letters and creating legacy projects. A volunteer will also provide caregivers with support and time for a well-deserved break.

Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm. Voicemail is available during off hours.
